4/6/19

Emmaus boys basketball head coach Steve Yoder has announced the dates for his annual summer Hornet Hoop Camp.

The four-day camp, which will be open to boys entering Grades 3-10, will be held from July 15-18 and will be divided into two groups. Grades 3-6 will report to Eyer Middle School, with grades 7-10 reporting to Emmaus High School.

The cost to attend is $165 if registered by June 20. After that date, the cost will be $190.

The camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of basketball. Dribbling, shooting, pivoting, rebounding passing and proper footwork are all needed to play the game properly.

Camp highlights include: four days of expert instruction, 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 games, individual shooting competition, team and individual awards, a personal evaluation for every player and a pizza party on the last day of the camp.

All campers should arrive at their respective gym between 8:45-9 a.m. and be dressed to play. Campers must bring their own lunch the first two days of camp. Lunch will be provided on the last full day of camp.
