SWIM – Sophomore Kera Reinhard wins a pair of individual events as Hornets remain unbeaten in EPC with 96-68 win over Stroudsburg

RECAP — Sophomore Kera Reinhard won two individual events and Emmaus claimed victories in nine of the 11 races on Monday as the Hornets remained unbeaten in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference rolling to a 96-68 win over Stroudsburg. Emmaus is now 5-0 in the EPC , while the Mounties dropped to 1-4.

Reinhard was the first the touch the wall in the 200 IM in a winning time of 2:18.97 and the 500 free in 5:31.00.

Three Freshmen also won individual races for the Hornets as Lauren Sharp won the 200 free (2:03.37), Laryssa White took first in the 50 free (27.67) and Chloe Vlaeminck took top honors in the 100 butterly (1:03.94).

Seniors Katie Champagne (100 free/55.43) and Chelsea Gravereaux (100 back/1:02.52) also took first place in their respective events.

Emmaus will be back in the pool at 4 p.m. on Thursday when they host Freedom (2-4).
