Lower Mac 7, Allentown 6 (Played Saturday at Church Lane Park)
RECAP: Jaime Hamilton was the hero on Saturday morning at Church Lane Park with a bases-loaded single in the bottom the seventh lifting as Lower Mac survived a second upset bid from last place Allentown this week to pull out a wild 7-6 win.
Lower Mac, which had defeated Allentown 9-8 back on Tuesday of this week, had trailed 3-0 after four innings before rallying to take a 6-3 lead into the seventh only to see Allentown tie the game at 6-6 in its final at-bat with a three-run inning.
Hamilton then won the game as he lined a one-out single to right field scoring scoring Braden Waller from third with the winning run as Lower Mac bounced back from its 4-1 loss to unbeaten South Parkland a day earlier.
Hamilton also picked up the win in relief despite giving up three runs in the seventh. He relieved starter Vince Viola who gave up three runs on six hits in five innings of work.
Catcher Jadon Diaz was the only Lower Mac player with multiple hits going 2-for-4. Shortstop Ryan Kasye and Viola each had two RBI in the win.
Lower Mac finished the regular-season at 9-7 and will likely be the fourth seed in the upcoming playoffs on Wednesday hosting Northern Valley, the fifth seed.
