Lower Mac 10, Carbon 6 (Tuesday @ Carbon)
A four-run seventh inning proved to be the difference as Lower Mac picked up a 10-6 road victory over the Carbon Monarchs last night.
The win evens Lower Mac’s record at 5-5 in the LV Legion League and 6-5 overall after picking up its second straight win in a 24-hour period.
Zach McEllroy led the Lower Mac offense going 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBI. Karson Krasley also had three hits, while Kaden Muller went 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Drew McGeehan picked up the win in relief allowing just one run on four hits. Starter Ian Cederberg went the first four innings giving up five runs on 10 hits while walking seven.
For Carbon (2-8), Jack Edwards, Garrett Lienhard, Evan Murphy and Lawrence Baldassano all had two hits. Rich Strack suffered the loss after giving up nine runs – all earned – on 13 hits.
The game featured a combined 28 hits and 13 walks.

Lower Mac 13, Solehi 0 (Monday @ Limeport)
Starter TJ Geist was dominant on the mound while the Lower Mac offense supported his effort pounding out 15 hits in a 13-0 rout of Southern Lehigh on Monday night at Limeport Stadium.
Geist went six strong innings tossing a two-hitter and striking out three before giving way to Ben Yartymyk who came on in the seventh to preserve the shutout.
Ryan Bennett and Dayne Schmidt led the Lower Mac hit parade with each player going 3-for-3 at the plate with a combined five RBI (Bennett 3 RBI/Schmidt 2 RBI). Joe Cook, Zach McEllroy and Michael Kernechel all had two hits in the victory for Lower Mac which improved to 4-5 on the season.
For Solehi (3-7), Nick Schummer and Hayden Hess each had one hit. On the mound, starter Thanos Milios took the loss after giving up five runs on nine hits in five innings of work.
