Emmaus 12, Becahi 1 (Tuesday at Becahi)
Behind the stellar effort on the mound from sophomore Cole Moreau and a hitting barrage that pounded out a season-high 17 hits, Emmaus was able to pick up its second win in as many days on Tuesday afternoon as the Hornets pulled away in the late innings for a 12-1 win over the Golden Hawks.
Moreau evened his record at 2-2 on the season after allowing just a first inning run on two hits in 5 2/3 innings. The southpaw struck out eight in the game.
At the plate, the Hornets got contributions up and down their lineup with all nine starters having at least one hit in the game. Senior right fielder Noah Hogan led the offense going 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and four RBI.
Senior shortstop Emmit Budick also had three hits in the game, classmate Josiah Williams drove in three runs with a two-run home run in the seventh inning and senior Colin Wilson also had two hits, including a solo shot to center field in the inning. Senior third baseman Chad Kauffman and junior catcher Bryan Kain also had two hits.
Becahi, which had entered play on a four-game win streak, dropped to 4-2 on the season. Junior third baseman Zach McCoy and senior shortstop Brayden Rader had the Golden Hawks only hits on the day. On the mound, reliever junior Tyler Santay suffered the loss after getting roughed up for 10 runs on nine hits in just two innings of work.
Emmaus (5-1 EPC/5-4 overall) will return to action on Friday at 4 p.m. as they host Pocono Mountain East at Church Lane Park. The game will be aired LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network beginning at 3:45 p.m.

Emmaus 6, Stroudsburg 0 (Monday at Stroudsburg)
Starter Shane Ohl was outstanding in his third start of the season in leading the Hornets to a 6-0 win over the Mounties.
Ohl tossed a complete-game, one-hitter while striking out three and walking just one in improving to 2-1 on the season.
Emmaus struck for an early run in the top of the first inning and that would be the only run they would need to win the game despite only managing just five hits off of three Stroudsburg pitchers.
Senior right fielder Noah Hogan was the only player in the game with multiple hits going 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored. Senior center fielder Wiley Fleck drove in two runs in the game and went 1-for-2 at the plate.
Stroudsburg’s only hit of the game came in the bottom of the fifth inning on a Owen McConnell single to center field. The Mounties had their three-game win streak snapped as they fell to 3-2 on the season.
