Parkland 58, Emmaus 43 (Boys)
RECAP >> Rival Parkland spoiled Emmaus’ Senior Day on Saturday afternoon at ‘The Hive’ as the Trojans rolled to a 58-43 win over the Hornets. The game was carried LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network.
Parkland outscored the hosts in all four quarters, building a nine-point lead at the half (23-14) and extending the advantage to as much as 21 (56-35) late in the fourth quarter before finally settling for the 15-point win.
Trojans freshman Nick Coval led all scorers with a game-high 16 points and teammate senior Trey Rolle added 10.
For Emmaus (3-6), senior Patrick Tulio led the team in scoring for the third consecutive game finishing with a team-high 12 points while fellow senior Jameel Sanders and junior Meech Rogers each added eight for the Hornets who were coming off an 11-point loss (54-43) to Central Catholic on Thursday.
Prior to the game, Emmaus honored its five seniors – Tulio, Sanders, Shep Henseler, Danny Bohman and James Debus – along with their parents.
The two teams will meet again on Monday when the Hornets travel to Parkland. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Parkland 46, Emmaus 29 (Girls)
RECAP >> The Hornets hung with rival Parkland on Saturday afternoon for three quarters trailing by just four – 26-22 – but the Trojans started pulling away in the final period and used 20-7 fourth quarter to hand Emmaus a 46-29 defeat.
It was the third consecutive loss and fifth in the last six games for the Hornets who dropped under .500 for the first time all season (4-5).
Sophomore Paige Inman led Emmaus in scoring matching her season-high for points in a game with nine.
Parkland, which was coming off back-to-back losses to Central Catholic and Nazareth, improved to 8-2 on the season. Senior Lindsay Berger paced the Trojans with a game-high 18 points, while freshman Talia Zurinskas added 14.
Emmaus will close out its regular-season on Monday at home at 7 p.m. in the rematch between the two teams.
