Basketball – Hornets rout Pleasant Valley 55-22 behind Inman and career-high efforts from Whitney and Doemling.

RECAP >> Emmaus bounced back from its first EPC loss last night at home rolling to their largest margin of victory of the season, a 33-point rout of Pleasant Valley.

Eleven different players scored in the win for the Hornets who improved to 7-1 in the league and 10-3 overall.

Senior Paige Inman led all scorers with a game-high 12 points, while freshman Olive Whitney and sophomore Cassandra Doemling each had career-high efforts with Whitney finishing with 11 and Doemling 10. Freshman Gabby De Vita just missed double figures adding eight points.

Pleasant Valley, losers’ of five straight, were paced in scoring by Aryn Stivala who had a team-high 11 points. The Bears dropped to 3-4 in the league and 3-8 overall.

Emmaus will return to action on Friday at 7 p.m. as they travel to rival Parkland (8-0 EPC/10-1 overall).
