Emmaus 53, ES North 49 (Boys)
At Emmaus, the Hornets had to use a late rally for their first league win of the season as they edged the Timberwolves.
Trailing by four after three quarters, Emmaus doubled up ESN in the fourth quarter outscoring them 16-8 as they improved to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the EPC.
Junior Jacob Ross had a double-double in leading the Hornets balanced scoring attack pumping in a game-high 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds and two blocks. Ross also converted on a pair of key free throws late in the game to seal the win.
Sophomore Noeah Newsome also had a big night with four 3-pointers and a career-high 15 points, while junior Matt Rooney had his first double-double of the season finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
For ESN, seniors Brandon Jeffers and Wayne King each had 12 points, while classmate Tareem Faison added nine.
Emmaus will close out the week on Saturday at 1 p.m. as they host Quakertown (1-4) in a non-league matchup. The game will be carried LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network beginning with pregame coverage at 12:50 p.m.

At East Stroudsburg North, Emmaus picked up its fourth straight win with a 56-point rout of the Timberwolves.
Senior Gabby DeVita led the Hornets (4-0 EPC/4-1 overall) in scoring with a game-high 18 points, while sophomore Gracie Ervin added 12 and senior Sierra Stevens a career-high 11.
ESN was paced by Briann Anderson who scored a team-high nine points. The Timberwolves remain winless on the season (0-7).
The Hornets will return to action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. as they travel to Liberty.
