BLAX – Hornets suffer second loss of the season to Inter-AC’s Germantown Academy 13-6

RECAP >> Emmaus fell on the road at Germantown Academy of the Inter-AC on Saturday 13-6.

Junior Will Barber led the Hornets (5-2 overall) with a four-point effort (2g/2a), while sophomore Kaleb Mains also had a four-point game (1g/3a). Senior Aidan Garrett had a game-high 10 groundballs and won 14 of 20 at the faceoff X. In goal, junior Sam Rainford was credited with 17 saves.

Germantown Academy (3-3) was paced on offense on by senior Josh Gibbs who had a nine-point game (4g/5a). Classmate Walker Schwartz added a six-point effort (4g/2a).

Emmaus will return to action on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. as they host Northampton at Memorial Field.
