Boys Basketball – Barber and Harris pace Hornets as they improve to 4-0 on the season with 29 point rout of Nazareth

Emmaus continued its early-season dominance with its largest margin of victory to date rolling to a 68-39 mercy rule road win at Nazareth last night.

The Hornets, who have won their first four games by an average margin of 21 points, jumped out to a 19-3 lead after quarter and never looked back as they improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the EPC.

Senior Will Barber led the way with a game-high 20 points to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists, while classmate Jametric Harris added 13 points and six boards and senior Teague McCourt a season-high seven points.

Nazareth (1-1 EPC/1-2 overall) was led in scoring by sophomore Logan Hahn who had a team-high 12 points. Senior Mason Kuehner added nine points.

Emmaus will return to action today at 3:30 p.m. as they host District 2 power Abington Heights in their home opener.
