RECAP >> Playing in its first game of the new year, Emmaus resumed action in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference last night with a 55-35 road win on Bob Nemeth Court at Northampton High School.
The Hornets outscored the K-Kids in three of the four quarters as they pulled away for the 20-point win in remaining as the lone unbeaten in league play (5-0) while also improving their overall mark to 8-2.
Junior Will Barber led all scorers with a game-high 22 points, while seniors Dylan Darville and Jake Fotta chipped in nine and eight points, respectively.
Northampton (1-5 EPC/3-7 overall) was led by junior Tristen Pinnock and senior Sam Koplin who each scored eight points. The K-Kids have dropped five of their last six games.
The Hornets will be back in action on Friday at 7 p.m. as they host Pocono Mountain West (5-1 EPC/8-1 overall). The game will be aired LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network beginning at 6:40 p.m.
