Finally, at 9 p.m. their game with Pac 10 foe Methacton tipped off and it was tough defeat for the Hornets as they fell 61-59 in a game that ended after 10:30 p.m. Emmaus was originally scheduled to play at 6 p.m. against Upper Darby.
Junior Will Barber put on a show in the defeat for Emmaus (0-1) scoring over half of his team’s points with a career-best 31-point effort, 15 of those coming in the fourth quarter. Senior Dylan Darville added 12 for the Hornets.
