RECAP >> Emmaus battled Lebanon and led after three quarters, but the Cedars used a strong fourth quarter to pull away and defeat the Hornets 69-61 on Friday night in the opening round game of the Cedar Crest Boys Basketball Tournament at Lebanon High School.
Playing without leading scorer junior Danny Bohman (11.7 ppg) and classmate Jameel Sanders who both missed the game, Emmaus had a one-point lead heading into the final quarter (45-44), but Lebanon outscored the Hornets 25-16 over the final eight minutes to advance to tonight’s 7:30 p.m. championship game against the host school and rival Cedar Crest, which defeated Oxford 51-38 to remain undefeated on the season (9-0).
Emmaus dropped to 2-7 overall following its fourth straight loss and will now face Oxford in the 6 p.m. consolation game.

Lebanon (4-4) got a game-high 21-point effort from sophomore Marquis Ferreira. Senior Raylin Pena added 19 and junior Isaiah Rodriguez 11 for the Cedars, which won their third straight.
