Coach Luckenbill – “The biggest challenge, and it’s been something that we’ve talked to the boys about all year, is that almost everybody that is going to play varsity for us this year played very little varsity last year. Matt Rooney and Jake Ross had some opportunities a season ago to play some serious varsity minutes but that’s about it. We are really trusting that the experience we got this spring and summer and in the fall is going to help us catch up. We are going to start the season probably the least experienced team when it comes to varsity minutes in the EPC and that’s something we are not going to make excuses for. We have to overcome it.

“There’s great talent in this conference this year. There are 18 teams and a lot of teams that have huge and lofty goals. Our goal is to make this year the best year it can be for our seniors and for our upperclassmen and do everything we can to win some games and get “The Hive” rolling again. We are a very proud program, and we have a lot of proud kids and great families that are going to help us get there.”
