Boys Lacrosse – Flok and Younker lead way as Hornets remain unbeaten while handing Crestwood its first loss in 14-2 victory

RECAP >> In a matchup of unbeatens, Emmaus had no problem in handing District 2’s Crestwood its first loss of the season as the Hornets rolled to a 14-2 road victory on Tuesday afternoon.

Junior Connor Flok, the team’s leading goal scorer, tallied four goals to raise his season total to 35 and added a pair of assists for a six-point effort to lead the offense as Emmaus improved to 9-0.

Also in the win, senior Adam Monek registered his third hat trick of the season, while seniors Zach Whalen and Cade Speicher along with junior Liam Porecca each tallied two goals. Junior Zack Younker, the team-leader with 29 assists, added five more in the victory. In goal, senior Ben Franco was credited with five saves.

Emmaus will be back in action tonight at 6 p.m.. as they host Liberty at Memorial Field.
