Boys Lacrosse – Flok scores career-high four goals, Hornets open season with 10-6 win over Moravian Academy

RECAP >> Six different players scored goals for Emmaus on Friday afternoon as the Hornets went on the road and defeated Moravian Academy 10-6 in non-league action to give head coach Stu Speicher his first career coaching win.

Junior Connor Flok had a big day to lead the winners as he scored a career-high four goals to go along with two assists. Teammate senior Zach Whalen added two goals and a pair of assists, while seniors Cade Speicher and Nate Seidel, junior Zack Younker and freshman Will Barber also scored in the win. In goal, senior Ben Franco picked up the win making 12 saves.

Moravian Academy (0-1) was led by Vinny Cucciuffo and Gavin Gibbs who each had two goals and two assists. Nolan DiSora also added a pair of goals.

Emmaus will return to action on April 6 as they take on Liberty at 6 pm in their home opener.
