Boys Lacrosse – Hornets off to 8-0 start for second year in a row, rout Liberty 19-1; 13 different players score goals in win

RECAP >> Thirteen (13) different players scored goals on Tuesday night at Memorial Field as Emmaus rolled to its eighth straight win, 19-1 over Liberty.

The victory marks the second consecutive year that head coach Desi Gonzalez’ team has started a season at 8-0.

Junior Alex Adamczyk led the offense with a five-point game, scoring a hat trick and adding a pair of assists. Senior Sam Conway, juniors Michael Leschinsky and Grant Hawkins, along with sophomore Zach Whalen all had two goals in the win.

Also scoring their first goals of the season were senior Dylan Keenan, sophomore Adam Monek and junior Billy Maroun.

Liberty remained winless on the season as they dropped to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the league.

Emmaus will return to action at 4 p.m. on Thursday as they travel to another winless team, Bethlehem Catholic.
