
At Wilson on Saturday morning, the Bulldogs continued their mastery over Emmaus by outscoring the Hornets 11-2 in the middle quarters on their way to a 16-5 victory.
Wilson, which had won 9-8 in double overtime a year ago at Emmaus, hasn’t lost to the Hornets since the two teams first started playing each other in 2013.
Eight different Bulldogs figured into the scoring column led by Carter Brensinger who had a seven-point game with four goals and three assists. Cole Kaufmann added a hat trick, while Beckett Redner added two goals and two assists for the Bulldogs who improved to 4-0 on the season.
For Emmaus, freshman Alex Younker scored his first career hat trick. Seniors Kaleb Mains and Gabe Chies each added a goal for the Hornets who evened their overall record at 3-3.
Emmaus will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Northwestern Lehigh for a non-league game at 6:30 p.m.
