NOTES: Fresh-off winning its second consecutive district championship and 17th in program history, the Hornets focus is now on the state tournament where they will be making their 21st appearance. The last time Emmaus won a state playoff game was back in 2006 when they beat Souderton. A year ago, the Hornets suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to Lower Merion at J. Birney Crum Stadium and in 2018 they fell to Abington 4-0 at Hatboro-Horsham HS ….Emmaus has outscored its opponents 35-4 and have posted 11 shutouts on the season ….LaSalle plays in the Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) and is a very talented and deep team returning eight starters off of last year’s squad that reached the state quarterfinals. The Explorers are stout defensively having given up just six goals all season. They are led by MF Brandon Curran who was an all-state selection a year ago. LaSalle has won 11 Philadelphia Catholic League titles.
