CORNER KICKS – Fresh-off winning its third straight District XI Class 4A title Emmaus is appearing in the state tournament for the fourth straight season and 22nd appearance overall. A year ago, the Hornets defeated LaSalle College HS 3-2 in the quarterfinals at Memorial Field before falling to Neshaminy 2-1 in double overtime in the state semifinals. Emmaus and Abington met in the opening round of states in 2018 with Abington winning 4-0 at Hatboro-Horsham HS …..Abington finished third in District One after defeating Council Rock South 3-2 in the third-place game ….The Ghosts won the SOL Liberty Division title for the second straight year.
