Emmaus head boys varsity lacrosse coach Bob Kornicke is excited to announce the addition of a middle school program that’s proposed to begin play in the Spring of 2024.
“We are starting an Emmaus Middle School boys lacrosse team,” said Kornicke in a press release on Tuesday afternoon. “It will be comprised of both Eyer and Lower Macungie players. The team will be aligned with the high school program and represent our style and philosophy which will give them a head start on preparing for their high school playing career.”
“There will be regular interaction with the high school staff and players,” he added. They will have the benefit of expanded training by a coaching staff that is experienced and that works with the high school program. This is a necessary step to bring the Emmaus boys lacrosse program to the next level and we are super excited about it. We are building one big family with one common goal.”
A pair of informational sessions will be held on Meet the Teachers Night on September 6 at Eyer Middle School and on September 7 at Lower Macungie Middle School. Both sessions will be held from 6-7:30 p.m.
