RECAP >> Juniors Rachel Herbine and Ava Zerfass combined for nine goals as Emmaus rolled to a 13-0 win over Bethlehem Catholic on Tuesday night in the team’s home opener at Memorial Field.
Herbine scored a career-high five goals, while Zerfass added four for the Hornets who improved to 2-0 on the season.
Sophomore Sage Pilarski and freshman Autum Kernechel each had a goal and an assist in the win.
Emmaus will return to action at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday as they host Hazleton in a non-league matchup. The game will be carried live on www.easternpasportsnetwork.com beginning with the pregame show at 6:15 p.m.
