Field Hockey – Herbine sisters do all the scoring as Emmaus beats rival Parkland 4-0 in District XI semis; Hornets will face Easton for fourth straight year in Saturday’s title game

RECAP >> Sisters Rachel and Annika Herbine each scored a pair of goals as Emmaus dominated rival Parkland for the third time this season, 4-0 in last night’s District XI Class 3A semifinal held at the Zephyr Sports Complex at Whitehall High School.

The Hornets (12-0 overall) advance to Saturday’s title game at 2:30 p.m. back at Whitehall where they will look to extend their incredible run of championships to 32 straight.

Junior Alexis Kociban had a pair of assists in the win, her 15th and 16th of the season. In goal, senior Bailey Tietz posted her 10th shutout of the season with two saves.
