GAME NOTES: Emmaus begins its quest for a third straight PIAA state title hosting Methacton in a rematch of last year’s quarterfinals won by the Hornets 2-1. The Hornets have won 14 state titles in program history. Emmaus has outscored its opponents 200-13 this season posting 17 shoutouts in 23 games … Methacton competes in the Pioneer Athletic Conference. Last year they were 12-1 in PAC and 18-6 overall. In the District One Tournament they defeated the No.5 seed Avon Grove (4-1), lost to Great Valley (2-1), defeated Garnet Valley (2-0) and defeated CB West (1-0) in the fifth-place game
