NOTES: Emmaus is facing Honesdale for the second time in the last three years in states. Back in 2020, the Hornets rolled to an 11-0 win in a game played at Memorial Field. Emmaus is in seach of its third straight PIAA championship and 15th overall … The Hornets have outscored their opponents 204-14 this season posting 17 shutouts … Honesdale is also known as the Hornets and they compete in the Wyoming Valley Conference. They are coming off their first-ever state playoff win as they rallied for a thrilling 5-4 win over Spring-ford. Lily Murray scored the game-winning goal as time expired. The Hornets won the WVC title defeating Wyoming Valley West 2-1 with Murray once again scoring the game-winner
