NOTES: A berth in the PIAA State Championship is on the line as the Hornets face Wilson from Berks County. Emmaus is the two-time defending state champ and looking for their third straight trip to the finals. The Hornets are appearing in the semifinals for the 13th consecutive year. On the season, Emmaus has outscored its opponents 211-14 posting 18 shutouts … Wilson has won 23 games with their only losses coming to District 3 foes Lower Dauphin (3-2 on Nov. 5) and Penn Manor (2-1 on Sept. 17). The Bulldogs have posted two shutouts in the state playoffs and have outscored their opponents 5-0. Wilson is the last team to defeat Emmaus, that coming in 2019 in the same round and at the same venue, 1-0. The Bulldogs are a senior-laden team (17 total) led by Berks County Player of the Year senior Erika Culp, a UConn commit, who has 28 goals and 31 assists on the season.
