RECAP >> Less than 24 hours after celebrating head coach Sue Butz-Stavin’s historic 1,000th win at home on Tuesday, Emmaus had quickly turn its attention yesteray towards rival Easton, one of only two teams to score against Emmaus this season.

Senior Maddie Huffer scored a goal and an assist to lead the offense for Emmaus, which outshot Easton 36-3 in the game and held a 19-2 advantage in penalty corners.

Also in the victory, seniors Jenna Villeneuve, Kyleigh Faust and Lexi Kociban scored goals, while junior Ava Zerfass scored her team-leading 33rd goal of the season. Junior Abby Burnett had a game-high two assists. In goal, sophomore Emma Cari posted the shutout, her 12th on the year.

The Hornets will be right back at it today with their third consecutive game in as many days as they travel to BASD Stadium to take on Liberty at 6:15 p.m.
