Senior Sarah Palazzo scored a pair of goals and defensively Emmaus posted its 11th shutout of the season as the Hornets went on the road and defeated Nazareth 4-0 on Wednesday night.
The victory keeps Emmaus unbeaten on the season as they improve to 12-0 in the EPC and 15-0 overall.
Senior Morgann Orobono wound up scoring the only goal the Hornets would need on the night as she found the back of the cage with 9:24 left in the first quarter on her 15th goal of the season off a penalty corner.
Palazzo tallied her 10th and 11th goals of the season in the first and second quarters and junior Gracie Huffer closed out the scoring with her 20th goal of the season. Huffer also added two assists in the win. Junior Emily Romano and senior Aiko Price combined on the shutout.
Nazareth fell to 8-3 in the league and 11-4 overall after dropping its third straight game. In goal, Teagan Moore made six saves.
Emmaus will return to action on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. as they host Downingtown West on Alumni Day.
