Emmaus enters on a five-game win streak and has qualified for districts the past nine years … In its 96-year, the Hornets have never won a District XI Championship. They have been to the finals twice in the last six years, finishing runner-up in 2021 & ’18 … Emmaus has lost to the Blue Eagles the last two years, 42-7 a year ago and 20-14 back in 2022. The two teams last met in districts back in ’21 with Emmaus winning a thriller at Nazareth, 20-19 … The Blue Eagles are the defending District XI 6A champs and are coming off a wild 63-55 loss to Easton last week … The winner of Friday’s game will face No. 1 Easton or No. 8 Stroudsburg next Friday in the semifinals.
