GAME NOTES: Hornets look to bounce back following a disappointing loss to Neshaminy last Friday at EPSD Stadium in a game in which they were outgained 451-170. It was the first time since the 2007 season that Emmaus had been shutout at home … In a losing effort, RB Jay Santos rushed for 93 yards and had four tackles … Becahi opened their season with an 18-point win over East Pennsboro. The Golden Hawks led by just four at the half (14-10) before outscoring the visitors 14-0 in the second half. QB Cayden Vassa was 7-12 for 76 yards before leaving the game with cramping. Backup Axel Burkhart led the offense after halftime going 12-13 and 104 yards …WR Carter Vassa had 10 receptions for 98 yards. The Golden Hawks return 8 starters on offense and 7 on defense
