EXTRA POINTS – Emmaus looks to move to 3-0 for the second time in the last three years as they travel to Whitehall and face former offensive coordinator Matt Senneca. The Hornets are coming off of a hard-fought win over CCHS, while the Zephyrs picked up their first win of the season rallying for a victory over Liberty … Emmaus generated just enough offense to pick up the win behind touchdowns from Sr. Dylan Darville (86-yard INT) and Soph. Rafael Terrero (first career TD pass – 42 yards). Defensively, the Hornets were once again stout not allowing a point after halftime for the second straight game. Sr. LB Aidan Garrett led the ‘D’ with 13 tackles and two sacks, while Sr. DL EJ Boney had a career-high three sacks …. Whitehall had to rally in its game vs Liberty as they trailed 22-6 before scoring the game’s final 27 points. QB Trey Dogmantis had three TD passes in the game and RB Nigel Linton had a pair of TDs and 98 yards on the ground … Emmaus has owned this series in recent history winning the last four meetings, including last year’s game – 26-7 at EPSD Stadium. Whitehall’s last win against the Hornets came back in 2017 – 42-35 …
