RECAP >> Nine different players found the end zone for unbeaten Emmaus (4-0) last night as the Hornets mercy-ruled East Stroudsburg North 70-6 at East Penn School District Stadium.
Junior back up quarterback Josiah Williams led the offense throwing for a career-high four touchdowns and 184 yards through the air. Starter Jake Fotta also threw for two scores in the game as Emmaus scored six touchdowns in the first quarter in jumping out to a commanding 42-0 lead.
Senior wide receiver Dylan Darville hauled in his fourth and fifth touchdowns of the season from 22 and 40 yards, while classmates Jackson Lake and Elijah Fajardo each had their first career touchdown receptions.
Sophomore Michael Milot closed out the scoring in the third quarter with his first career varsity touchdown on a 19-yard run.
Emmaus will return to action next Friday at 7 p.m. as they travel to BASD Stadium to take on Bethlehem Catholic (3-1). The game will be carried LIVE on www.easternpasportsnetwork.com.
