Outlook – The 2024-25 season was a magical one for the program which won its first league championship in 18 years, had a 22-game win streak and finished with 25 wins, the most since 2000-01 … Despite all that, there was still a sense of unfinished business as the Hornets lost two of their last three games in the post-season and did not have a chance to play for a District XI championship or a berth in the PIAA State Tournament … Four key seniors — Doemling, Laird, Sokolofski and Naccarato — were lost to graduation along with Snyder who transferred out, but there’s still a lot of good talent returning, including DeVita who’s arguably the league’s best overall player. Whitney and Stevens are also key returnees. Underclassmen Ervin, Glover, Haberl and Shutkufski should all have impacts playing more varsity minutes.
