Emmaus scored the game’s first 15 points last night at home at ‘The Hive’ and the Hornets had no trouble taking care of visiting Whitehall routing the Zephyrs 51-17.

All 14 varsity players saw action in the win for head coach Avon Mack’s team, who ran its win streak to 12 straight games in improving to 11-0 in the EPC and 15-1 overall.

Sophomore Kayla Snyder led all scorers with a game-high 14 points for Emmaus, while junior Gabby DeVita added 10.

Emmaus led 22-4 after the first quarter, 35-7 at the half and built the advantage to 45-9 after three quarters.

Whitehall was held to just six field goals in the game as they lost for the fifth time in the last six games dropping to 3-7 in the EPC and 6-11 overall. The Zephyrs were led by senior Jade Alvarez and junior Jaylene Wilson who each scored six points.

The Hornets will return to action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. as they host Central Catholic. The game will be aired LIVE on The Eastern Pa. Sports Network beginning at 6:45 p.m.
