Girls Basketball – Watkins matches career-high (16) as Hornets get back to winning ways with 51-31 rout of Pleasant Valley.

RECAP>> Senior Kam Watkins matched her career-high for points in a game with 16 leading Emmaus to a 20-point win (51-31) at Pleasant Valley on Saturday afternoon.

Watkins had four 3-pointers, junior Page Inman added 13 points and senior Sarah Hoch nine for the Hornets who improved to 9-4 overall and 7-2 in the EPC.

Emmaus outscored Pleasant Valley in all four quarters and built a 10-point advantage (27-17) at the half. The Hornets doubled up the Bears in the second half outscoring them 24-14.

Pleasant Valley dropped to 5-4 in the EPC and 6-4 overall with the loss. The Bears were paced by sophomore Aryn Stivala who had a team-high 12 points.

The Hornets will return to action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. as they host unbeaten Easton (7-0/11-0). The game will be broadcasted LIVE on www.easternpasportsnetwork.com.
