RECAP >> Senior Taylor O’Brien reached yet another milestone in her outstanding career on Saturday in leading Emmaus to their second non-league win in as many days as the Hornets went on the road and defeated Wyoming Seminary in a high-scoring 14-10 affair.
O’Brien scored six goals and now stands tied with former player Destanee Watkins for the most goals in a career with 175. O’Brien also added four assists in the win, adding to to her career total of 83 which is also a school record. She also holds the record at Emmaus with 258 career points.
Junior Kaitlyn Csensits added a hat trick in the win for the Hornets who are now 2-0 on the season. Senior Grace Hall had a five-point game with two goals and a team-leading three assists, while junior Tori Brinckman had a four-point effort with a pair of goals and two helpers. Fellow junior Emma Schoenly added a goal and an assist.
In goal, senior Chloe Gerhard was credited with 13 saves and sophomore Ellie Ervin made three stops.
Wyoming Seminary was led by Grace Parsons who had a team-high four goals and an assist. Teammates Christina Kelynank and Paige Parsons each added a hat trick.
Emmaus will return to action at home on Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. hosting Wilson West Lawn at Memorial Field in their third non-league game of the season.
