At Memorial Field on Saturday morning, junior Lizzie Bender had a career-high four assists as Emmaus picked up a 4-0 non-league win over previously unbeaten Dallas from District 2.
Junior Hannah Berk wound up scoring the only goal the Hornets would need with her first goal of the season in the first half.
Two other juniors – Giuliana Meyer and Sophia Isaksson – also scored goals while sophomore Ella Scharper picked up her third goal in as many games. In goal, senior Sadie Wallace and sophomore Olivia Haberl combined on the clean sheet.
Emmaus picked up its second straight win as they improved to 2-1 on the season.
The Hornets will return to action on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. as they host Pocono Mountain East (1-1).
