Girls Soccer – Two more games, two more shutouts for Hornets who remain unbeaten on the season

RECAP >> The Emmaus girls soccer team continued their mastery on the defensive end of the field this week with a pair of shutout wins to stay undefeated on the season.

Head coach Sarah Oswald’s squad improved to 10-0-1 overall after lopsided wins over both Dieruff (9-0) last night and Pocono Mountain West (8-0) on Tuesday.

On the season, Emmaus has posted an impressive nine shutouts, including five straight. They’ve also outscored their opponents 48-2.

Sophomore Kamryn McWhinney and junior Julia Adams each had a hat trick to lead the offense, while senior Hadlee Horvath, juniors Mackenzie Huffer and Simren Chaudhry and sophomore CeCe Ruyak scored their first career varsity goals.

The Hornets will close out the week at 9 a.m. on Saturday on the road with a showdown against a one-loss Easton squad.
