Coach Giangiobbe:
Thoughts on the pre-season and start of the year: “It’s very important for us to get the season off to a good start, but I think it’s more important to that our whole team gets on the same page moving forward. That’s our main goal.”
On the early part of the schedule: “I think playing competitive teams early on is really going to help us see what our weaknesses are. I think it will be a good tell tale of where we are, how we need to proceed moving forward and what we need to work on. I think it will be a good focus point for us.”
On getting over the hump and winning a District XI Title: “To get there we definitely need more communication on the court. We’re adjusting to a new defensive strategy this season. We have strong leadership from our seniors and returning players and I think that experience of going to the district tournament and going to states a year ago will get this team ready to compete at such a high level and help our team overall moving forward.”
