Golf – Walters and DeLong lead Hornets to wins over Becahi, Easton and Whitehall.

Sophomore Evan Walters fired the low round of the day with a 75 and teammate junior Kyan DeLong was next with a 77 as Emmaus cruised to victories over Becahi, Easton and Whitehall at Bethlehem Municipal Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon.

As a team, the Hornets (5-1 EPC) finished with a score of 404, 30 shots better than second place Becahi (434) and 34 ahead of Easton (438).

Senior Karson Krasley was third for Emmaus with an 80, followed by seniors Alek Fenstermaker (85) and Zach Heller (87).

The Hornets will return to action on Thursday as they host East Stroudsburg North at 1 p.m. in their home opener at Brookside Country Club.
