Lacrosse – Both girls and boys teams fall to 2-2 on the season following losses to Easton.

Easton 7, Emmaus 4

At Emmaus, the visiting Red Rovers outscored the Hornets 3-1 after halftime in earning the victory.

Easton (3-1) was led by Rowan Krieger who had three goals and Karsen Hippert who added two tallies.

For Emmaus (2-2), senior Abby DiComes had a hat trick, while junior Sarah Gross also found the back of the net. In goal, senior Devin O’Neil was credited with seven saves.

The Hornets will return to action at 4 p.m. on Thursday as they travel to Northampton.

At Easton, the Red Rovers jumped out to a big early lead with a seven goal first quarter and cruised to an easy win over the Hornets.

The defending EPC and District XI champs got scoring from six different players as they improved to 4-0 on the season.

Shae Linegar led the offense with five goals, while teammates Cael DiSora and Xavier Parker each had a hat trick.

For Emmaus, which dropped to 2-2 on the season, seniors Kaleb Mains, James Schauer and Gabe Chies each scored one goal.

The Hornets will look to bounce back on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as they host Northampton (1-3).
