Parkland 2, Emmaus 0 (Boys)
RECAP >> Parkland dominated play for much of the night as they handed Emmaus’ its first loss of the season, 2-0 on Monday at Parkland High School. The game was broadcasted live on www.pennsportsradio.com
Senior Max Coleman came off the bench and scored a goal in each half for the Trojans, who won for the eighth straight time in improving to 8-1.
Emmaus dropped to 9-1 with the loss and the two goals allowed were the most this season for the Hornets who had outscored their opponents 31-2.
Parkland outshot Emmaus 10-0 in the contest and held a 6-2 edge in corners. Senior Victor Baran posted the shutout in goal for the Trojans, while the Hornets used three goalies on the night – junior Ty Bleiler who allowed one goal in left the game with 16 minutes left in the first half before leaving the game with an injury, senior Ed Zellner and sophomore Max McGrath, who played the entire second half.
The two teams will meet again on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Emmaus’ Memorial Field.

RECAP >> The Hornets suffered their first loss of the season and were scored on for the first time as visiting Parkland came to Memorial Field on Monday night and handed Emmaus a 3-1 defeat.
Parkland, the defending EPC champs, got goals from junior Demi Olatio and seniors Zuzu Mohamed and Alex Marsteller.
Emmaus’ lone goal came from junior Maddie Brzezinski.
The Trojans outshot the Hornets 8-4 in the game and held a 6-0 advantage in corners. Senior Teresa Gonzalez made three saves in goal for Parkland, while junior Molly Lineberger was credited with five saves for Emmaus.
The two teams will meet again on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Parkland High School.
