Soccer – Hornets tune-up for showdown vs Nazareth by rolling to 10-0 rout of East Stroudsburg North on Senior Night

At Memorial Field on Tuesday night, Emmaus celebrated its Senior Night with a dominating 10-0 victory over the visiting Timberwolves.

Eight different Hornets scored goals in the win for head coach Chris Hain’s squad which won its 14th straight game to improve to 14-1 on the season and 13-0 in the EPC.

Junior Giuliana Meyer tallied a pair of goals to lead the offense, while classmate Lizzy Bender added her team-leading 17th goal of the season to go along with a pair of assists.

Seniors Emma Paradise and Kyana Deabreu both added a goal and an assist as did freshman Brynn Campbell for Emmaus which posted its 11th shutout of the season.

Prior to the match, Emmaus honored its six seniors — Sadie Wallace, Atlanta Bogert, Paradise, Andrea Dolcemascolo, Deabreu and Bailey Johnson.

The Hornets will return to action on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. as they travel to Nazareth in matchup of unbeatens in the EPC.
