The Lower Mac 12U Impact softball team recently completed an undefeated season by capturing the championship of the Lehigh Valley Girls Softball League.
The team, made up of players that will be attending LMMS and Eyer, went a perfect 12-0 in the league and 3-0 in the playoffs, capped off by sweeping Nazareth Blast in two games (12-1 and 16-6) in the best-of–three championship series.
Lower Mac outscored its opponents by an incredible 203-42 margin during the season and had a team batting average of .425. Their pitching staff had a team ERA of 1.86 with 135 strikeouts. The team fielding percentage was .926.
Players on the team and the grade they will be entering include: Sydney Bennett (8th), Samantha Boyer (7th), Gracie Brosious (5th), Mari Eiswerth (8th), Sydney Foulke (8th), Caylie Granitz (8th), Maya Miller (8th), Addy Reichard (7th), Morgan Schwab (8th), Bailey Searing (8th), Kaitlyn Steventon (7th) and Jenna Swoyer (8th).
The head coach was Steph Schwab and her assistants were Ethan Eiswerth, David Bennett and Andy Steventon.
