GAME NOTES: Emmaus and Pleasant Valley meet for the second consecutive season in the opening round of the EPC playoffs. A year ago, PV came to Emmaus and knocked off the Hornets 4-2 and advanced to the finals before losing to the eventual champ Nazareth. Emmaus then turned the tables on the Bears by eliminating them in the District XI playoffs, 9-2 … It’s been a long time since Emmaus last won a league title. They claimed back-to-back championships in 2001 and in 2000 … Nazareth is the two-time defending EPC champs.
