Field Hockey: Emmaus 3, Easton 1

RECAP >> Junior Ava Zerfass scored a pair of goals as Emmaus got a battle at Easton before pulling away for a 3-1 win.

Fellow junior Abby Burnett had the other goal for the Hornets who improved to 4-0 overall. The win was the 991st for head coach Sue Butz-Stavin.

Boys soccer: Emmaus 10, ES North 0

RECAP >> Seven different players scored goals as the Hornets rolled to a 10-0 rout of East Stroudsburg North at home.

Bryan Flor, Ryan Latchford and Nick Stephan all scored two goals as coach John Cari’s squad improved to 3-0-1 overall.

Jack Lawrence, Ryan Kiernan, Jaeden Amato and Blaise Verrastro also scored in the win.
