At Stroudsburg, the Hornets posted their 10th clean sheet of the season in blanking the Mountaineers.
Five different players figured into the scoring column for head coach John Cari’s team, who improved 11-0-2 overall and 10-0-2 in the EPC.
Junior Anthony Suida scored the only goal Emmaus would need tallying his fifth of the season in the first half.
Aleksander Pryzbylski, another junior, also scored his second of the year four minutes later and sophomore Jeremy Sharpless tallied his first career varsity goal in the 35th minute to close out the first half scoring.
In goal, senior Gavin Yartymyk and junior Nate Schalles, seeing varsity action for the first time, combined on the shutout.
Emmaus outshot Stroudsburg 11-0 in the match and held a 5-0 advantage in corners.
The Hornets have a quick turnaround as they host Pleasant Valley (8-4 EPC/9-4 overall) at 3:30 p.m. today.

At Memorial Field, the future of Emmaus girls’ soccer was on hand on youth night watching the Hornets roll to yet another victory.
Winners of 12 straight, Emmaus matched their season-high for goals in a game, scoring four in the first half and adding five more after halftime.
Junior Lizzy Bender continued her torrid scoring with a hat trick to lead the offense for head coach Chris Hain’s squad. Bender has scored at least one goal in 13 games and leads the team with 14 on the season.
Another junior, Giuliana Meyer, also added a pair of goals, Nos. 12 and 13 on the season, classmate Erynn Stephens scored twice, and sophomore Ella Scharper tallied her ninth goal of the season.
Emmaus will return to action on Friday at 3:30 p.m. as they travel to Pleasant Valley (4-6 EPC/5-7 overall)
