In their first match of the season, the Emmaus girls wrestling team rolled to a 63-12 win over Bethlehem Catholic on Wednesday afternoon inside the Emmaus Aux Gym.
First year head coach Thad Smith’s squad won all but two of the 13 bouts as they improved to 1-0 on the season.
Freshmen Peyton Schneck (106) and Erin Bechtel (124), sophomore Ariana Koberlein (142) and junior Olivya Kroope (155) all recorded pins for the Hornets.
Bethlehem Catholic (0-1) forfeited six of the matches.
Emmaus will return to the mat tonight at 6:30 p.m. as they host Stroudsburg.
