Emmaus closed out its regular-season dual meet schedule last night going on the road and defeating Pocono Mountain East 53-12.
The Hornets (7-2 EPC/12-4 overall) won 10 of the 13 bouts, recording bonus points in nine of those matches.
Junior Jackson Max (107) and sophomore Emilio Albanese (121) each picked up their team-leading 27th wins of the season — Max recorded a first period pin over Jackson Starr and Albanese a 20-5 tech fall over Chris Gerheart.
Junior Xayden Sallit (172) won his 26th match of the year with a 17-2 tech fall over Greyson Meehan, while senior Jesse Scott (160) moved within four wins of 100 for his career with a first period fall over Ceejay Serfass.
PME picked up wins at 114, 127 and 285. The Cardinal dropped to 3-5 in the EPC and 10-9 overall.
Up next for Emmaus will be the District XI AAA Duals which gets underway on Saturday. The Hornets will be competing in the duals for the first time since the 2022-23 season.
