RECAP >> Emmaus bounced back from its first league loss last Friday against Central Catholic by rolling to its second win over Northampton this season, 70-51 at ‘The Hive’ last night.
Junior Will Barber led all scorers with a game-high 19 points for the Hornets while teammates junior Jametric Harris added 15 and senior Dylan Darville 11.
With the victory, Emmaus improved to a league-best 10-1 in the EPC and 14-3 overall and they also remained unbeaten at home at 8-0.
Northampton dropped to 5-7 in the league and 8-9 overall. The KKids were led in scoring by juniors JJ Kolumber and Tristen Pinnock who had 15 and 14 points, respectively.
The two teams combined for 20 3-pointers in the game – Northampton 11, Emmaus 9.
The Hornets will be back in action Friday at 7 p.m. as they travel to Whitehall to take on the Zephyrs. The two teams met earlier this season with the Hornets winning 69-39.
